An AI receptionist for specialty medical practices
Patients get an answer, an appointment and a clear path to your staff, and your team stays focused on the people already in the clinic.
Done for you. Live in about 2 weeks after we receive access to your systems.

When the phones decide the day
In a specialty practice the lines rarely go quiet: new patients holding a referral, existing patients moving an appointment, people asking about directions, forms and what to bring.
Each call is short. Together they pull your staff away from the patients standing at check-in, and the calls that arrive over lunch or after closing go to voicemail.
Some of those voicemails were new patients with a referral in hand, and they will simply call the next specialist on the list.
What does an AI receptionist do for a medical practice?
An AI receptionist answers patient calls, texts and chats, handles routine questions and books visits into your schedule. AgentBlue sets it up and runs it for private specialty practices, and anything clinical, urgent or sensitive goes straight to your staff.

What it takes off your staff's plate
The repeat work moves to the AI. The judgement calls stay with your people.
New patient bookings
People with a referral or a question about your services get answers and appointment times, including at lunch and after hours. The AI answers 24/7.
Directions, forms and hours
Where to park, which forms to complete, what to bring and when you open are answered using details your practice signs off.
Rescheduling without hold music
Patients can move an appointment by text instead of waiting on hold, which frees the old slot for someone else.
Requests that need a person
Refill, results, billing and clinical questions are recognised and passed to your staff with the details so far.
Follow-up visits booked
Patients due back for a follow-up get a reminder with a few times to choose from.
What your practice manager can review
Nothing happens out of sight. These are the records your staff can open.
Appointments in your schedule
Visits it books appear in your scheduling system with the conversation behind each one.
Clean handoffs
When a patient needs a person, your staff receive the request and a short summary, so nobody starts from scratch.
Clear disclosure
Patients are told they are talking with an AI, and anyone who asks for a person is put through.
A regular review with a person
Someone from our team walks you through calls answered, visits booked and requests handed over.

Frequently asked questions
Is this for primary care or hospitals?
We work with private specialty practices that book their own appointments. Hospitals and large health systems are outside what we do.
Will it give medical advice?
No. It handles scheduling and practical questions only. Clinical questions, refills and results go to your staff.
Will patients know it is an AI?
Yes. It says so at the start of each conversation and passes anyone who asks for a person to your team.
What happens with urgent calls?
It does not assess symptoms. Urgent calls go to your staff, and after hours it shares the instructions you set, such as calling emergency services or your on-call line.
How do you handle patient information?
Ask us on the demo call. Data protection depends on how your practice is set up, so we answer it there for your situation. Please do not type patient details into our website chat or forms.
How long does setup take?
You are live in about 2 weeks after we receive access to your systems. Our team does the setup.
Want to see how it greets a new patient?
Ask Sophia, our AI assistant, how it would answer a new patient with a referral at your practice.
